"Intruder" is a sort of short, sharp shock. It was written to break the mood, to change the pace. The other songs all shared a same sort of resonance, they all seemed much of a muchness and with "Intruder" I wanted to write a sort of 2 minute punk thing. It suffers from the lack of a real guitar (infact the whole album would probably come to life in the hands of a good band) but the end result was pretty punchy and a good reflection of what I had in mind.
